Author of "Connecticut Made" and international business owner

Ms. Parzych is a writer, entrepreneur, and international business woman. She has traveled the world and spent a lot of time in New York and London but never forgot her roots here in New Britain. She is known in CT for her book "Connecticut Made" and her business in Glastonbury where she produces agricultural products that she turns into jams and other finished products. Her "Connecticut Made" book was inspired by what she saw growing up in New Britain. Returning to CT she served on the Board of "Urban Oaks" that helped change the Oak Street area in New Britain. She was a member of the first group of women to be welcomed as students at Trinity College in Hartford. Her education was aided by a Rotary Scholarship.
